Methode manufactures a variety of liquid-cooled chill blocks used in pressure-mounted SCR devices from 33mm to 100mm in diameter. These items are stocked, offering the shortest lead times in the industry. All liquid-cooled copper chill blocks come nickel-plated and, together with our SCR clamp products, offer a complete solution for your thermal needs. Methode offers a variety of copper liquid-cooled heat sink assembly kits that work with SCR devices from 33mm to 100mm, and bolt-hole centers that vary from 2.75 in. to 7.50 in.. These items are stocked, offering the shortest lead times in the industry. All liquid-cooled heat sink kits come with nickel-plated copper chill blocks, the recommended clamps and SCR locating pins preinstalled. The only information required is the SCR thickness to determine required bolt length. - Consumes smaller volume than finned heat sinks
- Lower thermal resistance than finned heat sinks
- Optimized fluid path can be virtually any size and specific to application
